I am a scholar and a fan of queer and feminist speculative fiction and of transformative works fandom. I'm Assistant Professor of English at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and I was editor of the WisCon Chronicles in 2011 and of a Feminist Science Fiction issue of Ada: A Journal of Gender, New Media and Technology in 2013.

This is my Dreamwidth account for professional purposes (teaching, editing). In Spring 2011 I used Dreamwidth to host the online component of my seminar "Future Generations: Narratives of Reproductive Speculation" in the Thematic Option Honors Program at USC; you can read some of the great postings from the course at [community profile] futuregenerations112.
